Description
Michael Bailey Associates is now recruiting for a Network Engineering opportunity in Reading for an initial 6 Months Contract for our Multinational Telecommunications Client.The ideal candidate will have 6+ years experience in technical design and implantation of large-scale customer networks. You will be required to have the ability to perform architecture, design, documentation, implementation and review of technical security systems.
You must have previous experience of:
- Technical knowledge in application and network security
- Technical knowledge of data leakage and data protection
- Deep infrastructure understanding (firewalls, protocols, data storage, networks)
- Experience designing, deploying and managing at least 3 of the following technologies, Vendor certification preferred. Cisco (PIX, IPS, routers and switches) Juniper (Firewalls, IDP, SSL VPN, UAC) Checkpoint firewalls Sourcefire IDS Bluecoat application gateways Linux, Windows, Solaris SIEM, Data leakage and protection products.
- You must also have technical experience using: LAN, WLAN and WAN engineering Software Defined Networking (SDN), Cloud Services, IP Services (DNS, DHCP)
