My client has 2 positions available for Mechanical Fitters in their busy Montrose location. They are specifically seeking candidates to cover day/night shifts.
Please see working hours below:
4 x Day/Night Shift Fitters - 2 days/2 nights then 4 days off.
6am-6pm days
6pm-6am nights
Role Summary/Purpose
To undertake the Strip/Dis-assembly then Repair, Assembly, Test and run of Subsea equipment, specifically pressure testing.
Although not essential to the role, overhead crane and forklift tickets are advantageous.
Essential Responsibilities
- Read and understand Drawings and Engineering part Specifications
- Mechanical/electronic assembly
- Pressure testing
- Strip, clean & inspect equipment and record findings
- Assemble products in accordance with applicable Drawings and Engineering Part Specifications and any specific Assembly Procedures.
Desired Characteristics
- Proactive & Positive attitude to HSE & Quality.
- Experience using an overhead crane ticket or forklift
- Ability and initiative to work by themselves and as part of a team.
- Good communication & Interpersonal skills.
- Report writing skills.
