Hyperion Technical Consultant (Remote)
Hyperion Technical Consultant (Remote) required by Whitehall Resources for a 12 Month Extendable off-shore/remote project assignment for our client based in Pune, India.
Skills/Experience Required:
- 7+ years of EPM experience with 5+ years focused on Oracle Hyperion Planning & Essbase
- At-least 3 Hyperion end-to-end implementations
- Hands-on experience with the latest version of Oracle Hyperion - ie .
- Hands on Expertise in Performance tuning and application optimization
- Hands on Expertise in Backup and recovery of Hyperion applications
- Proven skills in Establishing disaster recovery procedures
- Hands on experience with integration tools like FDMEE, ODI, Data synchronizer
Responsibilities:
- Ensure always the Hyperion Environments Application and Essbase Database is working 24/7
- Implement Disaster Recovery for Hyperion Prod environment
- Perform Backup and recovery of Hyperion applications/database
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with Hyperion software
- Assist in performance tuning, application optimization and monitoring of all Hyperion system tiers
- Monitor database activities related to UAT/PREPOD/PROD environments related to Hyperion
- Ensure proper change management, problem management and security management activities are carried out to support Hyperion and Essbase environment
- Apply software updates and patches as needed
- Update and maintain system documentation as required
- Validate and assist in troubleshooting Hyperion Planning installations on UAT (EPMUAT), PrePROD (EPMQA) and Production on premise environments
- Security & performance tuning on PROD environment as need
- Work with Single Sign-On (SSO) consultants to troubleshoot and resolve SSO issues
- Participate in collaboration activities with Customer IT team to assist with system maintenance, troubleshooting, user issues and upgrades
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly support activities for all tasks include to support existing Hyperion solution for Customer
- Timely server maintenance
- Creating and maintaining Essbase cubes
- Evaluating and installing relevant patches
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with Hyperion infrastructure, hardware, and software
- Automation and Scripting of tasks
- Creating and maintaining workflows
- Managing user security roles and access
- Implementing monthly metadata maintenance
