Description
The Big Data Engineer will be working on a range of Big Data projects for the consultancies end client.
The length of contract is signed off currently for 3 months rolling (the project will extend to the end of the year.)
Responsibilities:
- Experience with big data solutions on premises and on the cloud (Microsoft Azure)
- Production project experience with at least one of the Big Data technologies
- Good knowledge and experience of batch processing, Real Time processing and data streaming using tools such as Azure Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Databricks/Hadoop/Spark
- Design and shape the data processing and analytics solution based on Big Data/BI technology stack
- Assemble and present solution designs with deep technical details
- Document, communicate and review the data architecture and architectural decisions
- Work closely with the current Lead Architect and Infrastructure Engineers
- The type of Big Data Engineer background will include:
- NoSQL databases
Rate: Market Rates/Dependent on experience
