DevOps Engineer
Monthly rate - TBC

Long term contract (initial 12-months)
An exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to work for one of the biggest clients around the world has arisen. This role is open to all levels of experience and the monthly rate would reflect experience level. Our client is ideally looking for candidates with experience in continuous integration and automation.
Responsibilities
-Develop, maintain and execute high quality automation for release and infrastructure management
-Working with the iOS and Android engineers for the release automation
-Working continuously with the development and release management team for day to day operations
-Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather infrastructure requirements, design solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable automation solutions
-Develop and monitor infrastructure metrics and provide timely communication to key stakeholders on a regular basis
Key Skills/Experience
Essential
-Infrastructure as code & configuration management - Puppet/Chef/Ansible
-CI/CD Pipelines for Web & Mobile (Jenkins, maven, gradle, fastlane, Shell Scripts, git)
-Public/Private/Hybrid Clouds (AWS/VMWare)
-Programming Languages (python/ruby/Shell Scripting/go)
-Containerization - Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift
-Monitoring & Alerting - ELK/Pingdom/Zabbix/Sensu/Nagios
-Version control systems eg Git
-Experience with systems and IT operations
-Strong experience working in a Continuous Testing/DevOps environment
-Ability to work without direct supervision while contributing to the success of the team
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Demonstrated high standard of coding practices including good design documentation and peer code-reviews
-Strong problem-solving skills; the ability to analyse automation testing problems and develop actionable and appropriate tactical plans quickly
