Global IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experienced Hosting Technical Architect for their client based in Dublin.
The role of the Hosting Architect is to progress our client's journey in providing centralized, re-usable technology assets that can be utilized and deployed globally. The successful candidate will draw on broad experience and deep expertise across the Hosting disciplines in order to develop and document robust and cost-effective Hosting approaches for all aspects of the organisation.
The Hosting Architect will be an effective communicator with strong technical skills. You will be able to conceptualise, plan, document and communicate effectively. The correct candidate will possess energy, develop and document value-added solutions that enable standards to be globally adopted. Their technical documentation skills will be first rate - clear, concise, logical and unambiguous.

The successful candidate for this position will have the following experience and expertise:
- 10+ years relevant work experience in hosting and storage.
- 3+ years' of experience in leveraging cloud hosting and storage solutions such as Amazon, Google, or Azure.
- 3 - 5 years' experience designing storage and backup technologies.
- 3 - 5 years' experience as solution architect for hosting and storage.
- Experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure including VxRail and Hyperflex.
- Architect level knowledge and hands-on experience with some combination of NetApp, HP, EMC, Data Domain, and Dell storage systems

Architect level knowledge and hands-on experience with some combination disk technologies, SSD, spinning disk, NVMe, NVMe-oF & NVMe over TCP.
- Architect level knowledge of backup products and hands-on experience with some combination of Data Protector, Commvault Simpana, SnapMirror and SnapVault technologies.
- Architect level knowledge and hands-on experience with some combination of NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, FC architectures, Object storage, storage virtualization, thin provisioning and data deduplication products and SAN Switches.
- Good understanding of Virtualization technologies such as VMware and its integration with storage.
- Knowledge of Database technologies including Oracle and MS SQL.
- Good understanding of Disaster Recover/Business Continuity solutions.
- Good understanding of various Storage Management products and offerings.
- Works collaboratively with multiple levels to develop innovative or creative solutions that work effectively.
- Knowledgeable about current and possible future IT trends and technology.
- Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably.
- Experience with and ability to drive self-service solutions.
