Description

My client based in France is urgently searching for IT Service Desk 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer for a 3-6 month contract starting ASAP.

Description:-

- Providing IT support and technical assistance to staff in person, over the phone or remotely in an efficient, effective manner. Adhere to internal process, standards and SLAs agree with the business.
- Deskside support in 2 sites.
- Installing and configuring desktop, laptop and mobile technology.
- Diagnosing and resolving desktop hardware and software issues.
- Analyzing support calls to identify trends and recommend ways to approach the underlying problems.
- Ensuring the clients business IT infrastructure is always operational acting in both a proactive and reactive manner to incidents as appropriate.
- Maintaining the clients Domain Active Directory and Group Policy service.
- Responsible for helping to maintain IT security and integrity of the clients IT services.
- Applying operating system updates, patches and undertaking configuration changes.
- Triaging 2/3rd Line support incidents, troubleshooting and collating information to aid other IT teams to resolve issues.

Skills/experience:-

- Demonstrable experience of using Enterprise IT Service Desk tools
- Strong working knowledge of Windows laptops/desktops - installing, configuring and managing
- Active Directory/Cloud Manager for SSO management
- Knowledge of Google Apps for business (G Suite)
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite
- Enterprise phone systems eg Avaya PBX and tooling
- Devise management including printers, mobile phones
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to handle changing workload demands
- Excellent communication skills to ensure effective communication
