Description
Infrastructure Architect, SDN/NFV, Cloud, AWS, Azure, OSS, BSS is required to work for a leading digital consultancy in Brunei for a 6 monthly rolling contract.
The Infrastructure Architect, SDN/NFV, Cloud, AWS, Azure, OSS,BSS will have worked for various telecom organisations and will have experience of SDN/NFV, cloud virtualisation with AWS/Azure, OSS/BSS technologies and infrastructure systems. The Infrastructure Architect will support the development of IT & Data models for networks, processes, applications and databases in the development of the overall and intermediate and target telecom operating models. The Infrastructure Architect ideally would have worked for IBM, AWS, Microsoft or other market leading virtualisation companies.
Description of tasks
- Capture existing IT architecture, interfaces, processing blocks and platforms. Production of "AS IS" for all OpCos including I/F's and Protocols, known utilization vs. capacities and capacity planning
- Define integration architecture for consolidation of various IT applications and prepare HLD for an API based integration layer.
- Produce draft Level 1 and Level 2 total architecture diagrams for all SDN/NFV/BSS/OSS/ESS/DC/IT Infrastructure services following TOGAF
- Produce draft Level 1 and Level 2 process diagrams for all SDN/NFV/BSS/OSS/DC/IT infrastructure services
- Supports the development of IT & Data models for networks, processes, applications and Databases as appropriate in the dev. of the overall intermediate and target telecom operating models
- Capture future requirements - near-term and longer-term
- Commercial and business requirements
- Technical requirements include service performance Mgmt.
- Support production of RFP's for support needed from Vendors as required and provides support to other IT and Data Center work streams and Operations technical teams as required.
- Supports the Training of and selecting appropriate candidates for the role of UNN IT and DC Architect
- Analysis of architecture options and recommendations to meet near-term requirements
- Issue Gap Analysis reports as necessary to support development of RFP's and Programme development milestones,
- Map requirements onto existing systems and identify where new systems are required,
- Develop budget to support business model,
- Define implementation strategy)
- Maintain overall IT-system architecture documentation
- Define future target architecture
- Identify key new systems that need to be introduced into the IT estate
- Develop incremental plan to evolve IT architecture towards the target architecture
- Develop long term budget
