Description
We are currently looking for a Finance Advisor to work in London on a contract basis within the Oil & Gas Sector.You will be working closely with the Group treasury, tax and legal functions to ensure the relevant company assets are managed, and dividends are executed in line with treasury policy.
The ideal Candidate must have previous experience;
- Working at a larger accountancy practices preferably on of the big 4
- Must be (ACA or equivalent) qualified.
- Excellent IFRS technical accounting expertise.
Your main responsibility will be ensuring the correct accounting treatment is applied to Treasury & Financing company and related transactions, including interest and foreign exchange exposures, derivatives, liquidity, tax matters and other restructuring transactions.
You will be providing accounting advice and guidance to project teams on a variety of transactions to ensure that all items are appropriately reported and understood. Your advice and insight will be sought and relied upon by a number of key internal stakeholders.
