My Client a major technology company are looking for an experienced Channel Marketing Manager

Team/Department Mission
The Consumer & Devices Sales organisation works with ecosystem partners to build, market and sell a winning portfolio that delights customers and earn fans around the world
The retail channel is vital to growth not only for the direct revenue it generates, but also due to the retail channel's unique ability to help build brand equity and engagement due to its outreach to consumer and small business customers worldwide. We have a long history of working with partners to reach end customers and this certainly applies to our retail go-to-market approach. We have developed tremendous relationships with retailers and distributors worldwide making our retail success possible.

The Distribution Channel Marketing Manager will proactively drive and enable the key UK&I consumer distributors to independently manage the marketing planning and execution for key retailers and growth channels to drive increased market share and revenue of our products.

Working in partnership with distributors the role will involve finding ways to effectively communicate the brand, story and products at the point of purchase via innovative in store & online messaging, comprehensive training & partner media activity plans.

The role will also need to drive engagement and share of voice across all sales, marketing and other relevant channels within the distributor's business.

Reporting to the Retail Channel Marketing Lead, the CMM will partner with the UK&I Partner Account Managers, UK Category Managers, and our Channel partners and could work across a number of exciting product categories.

Working in a fast paced environment where marketing innovation is key, the CMM needs to deliver through the Distributors the right mix of physical and digital execution, understanding emerging trends & technologies as well as the more traditional mechanics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Experience of developing and driving partner and/or customer marketing strategy and execution through Distributors across retail and digital channels

Marketing or other relevant qualification

Key Accountabilities
Execute marketing plans and programs in support of Product Category direction that deliver standout for our products versus the competition
Develop a comprehensive all-up distribution marketing strategy inclusive of product launches, marketing campaigns, consumer initiatives, and managing new channels or methods of distribution
Manage marketing spend at partner level whilst executing priorities as defined with the relevant Category team
Plan, challenge and oversee channel marketing plans for retailers that the Distributors will manage ensuring that they are delivering ROI.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Distributors, how they take products to market, their marketing vehicles, opportunities and timelines (become an expert in the channel)
Track all marketing spend over time, collate proof of execution materials and ROI detail to drive learnings and inform future spend
Implement and manage the Distributor asset management process so that they can co-ordinate the design, production and execution of partner specific merchandising, online and training materials with the appropriate sign off
Work in partnership with the Distributors to ensure they are developing fully integrated retail and digital marketing campaigns encompassing all the main functional elements including POS, merchandising, website presence, CRM, Social media, SEO, Mobile
Complete administration of purchase orders, product sales sheets, set up forms as required for all categories
Coordination of conferences, events and any other channel marketing activities
