Our international Telecoms client is looking for an Italian speaking Implementation Project Manager with solid telecoms mobile background.

The right person should have proven and solid practical experience of leading a telecom implementation with successful results, scope, schedule and budget.

You would be the key person dealing with the client so excellent customer facing and dealing skills are a must. You'd need to be able to discuss with the client on all levels, deliver presentations and gather information to ensure it flows to both the vendor as well as the sub contractors to deliver a functioning network.

A good knowledge of telecoms implementations from project award to go live is necessary. Experience from Civil Works and Site work will be required as well as an overall technical network understanding.

The projects can range from smaller localized networks to larger countrywide networks. Any experience dealing with Public Sector or Government/Defense projects would be beneficial.

Responsibilities will include:

- Manage regional project teams in a Matrix environment, to ensure contract requirements (system delivery) are fulfilled on time, to specification, within budget and to the customer's total satisfaction
- Act as the responsible interface between the customer, the various company divisions/departments, vendors and any other involved parties
- Management of subcontractors
- Produce and maintain project plans and ensure they are achieved
- Planning and coordination of project tasks with all internal and external departments and groups involved.
- Control of resources and cost allocated to the project
- Produce and maintain project budgets, forecasts & P&L goals
- Identify project risks, quantify and produce risk mitigation and contingency plans to optimise profitability and customer satisfaction
- Providing Management reports on progress, milestones, risks, costs, billings and releases
- Manage change control process and project variations
- Manage all Customer quality cases and ensuring that all cases are closed in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain project documentation in accordance with client standard, customer contract and ISO requirements
- Manage quality metrics as per the quality goals

The work will be mainly based in Italy and will require travel across the country.
