Description
The Senior Consultant required to be engaged on either customer facing or internal professional services engagements. Sr. Consultants often lead the technical aspects and the development of project deliverables of internal projects (system integration, whitepapers, scalability and performance tests) to a large extent and can lead standard customer engagements of low to medium complexity. The successful candidate will be fluent in Italian & English.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day Citrix administration which includes system administration (add additional capacity, install patches, provisioning). Integrating new applications and maintaining existing applications in the Citrix Virtualization environment.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while monitoring and maintaining application environment stability.
- Apply solid problem-solving techniques consistent with advanced knowledge of technical and operational issues involving Citrix technologies.
- Assist in root cause analysis, diagnostics, and systems monitoring.
- Provide clear, concise, and customized documentation that is appropriate for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide evaluation in designing, updating, implementing the latest Citrix products.
- Participate in the development and enforcement of company IT standards, policies, and procedures, develop, and update technical documentation.
- Enhance Citrix environments to meet security, audit, and compliance requirements.

- Application integration, profile and policy management, scalability testing, custom Scripting, infrastructure validation, environment builds, and testing.
- Pilot implementation, production rollout, and issue resolution.
Technical Skills
- Ability to act as technical expert in agreed-upon technology areas, potentially including Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenMobile, and/or NetScaler.
- XenApp/XenDesktop Communication flows
- Experience with architecture, engineering, features, and functionality of Citrix products including cloud virtualization Citrix/Azure/AWS
- Experience leading or participating in Citrix implementations.Netscaler ADC, NetScaler Gateway
- Experience working with a variety of business applications (ie such that they can assess application requirements and configure them for a Citrix environment).
- Solid understanding of networking foundations, application networking, and network security.
- Solid understanding of general operating systems and modern mobile applications.
- Experience with Windows and/or UNIX Servers.
- Experience with client operating system platforms (PC and Mobile).
