The role holder will assist in the running of the Portland Land Magnetic Range, ensuring that the magnetic measurements of items are undertaken to meet the defined defence standards. The role holder may also be required to assist in undertaking periodic magnetic surveys of UK manufacturing and storage facilities to ensure that low magnetic equipment is stored within facilities which meet the defined defence standards.
Role Requirements
- Experience of working in a Testing and measurement facility
- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship
- Fork lift licence
- Familiarity with Royal Navy MCMV Magnetic Hygiene requirements
- Prior experience of working within the Portland Land Magnetic Range
- Experience of working within a small team and the ability to contribute to efficient delivery of services
Must have:
- Physical ability to undertake manual handling activities
- Full UK Driving Licence
