Role: UI Developer with Big Data environment
Location: London
Compensation: £600 per day
Employment Type: Contract
Job Specification:
React.js Developer will work with various client teams, they will be involved from conception to completion with projects and will contribute in all phases of the development life cycle.
Their primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Redux) and ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain.
Key skills and experience:
- 8+ years professional software development experience and at least 4 years within Big data environment.
- 4+ years professional experience in ReactJS/Redux, HTML5, NPM, CSS, RESTful services, Test Driven Development, Unix/Linux environment on-premises and in the cloud.
- Hands-on experience creating ReactJS/Redux projects from scratch, debugging Javascript issues and writing automated tests
- Experience with industry standard version control tools (Git, GitHub) automated deployment tools (Ansible & Jenkins) and requirement management in JIRA
- They should have experience with developing user friendly interfaces for working with large structured/semi structured data sets.
- Expertise in UI development pattern (MVVM, MVC, BDD, TDD, IOC)
- Experience on Debugging the Code issues and then publishing the highlighted differences to the development team/Architects;
- Exposure to Agile Project methodology but also with exposure to other methodologies (such as Kanban)
