Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Business/Data Analyst for a contract in Charlotte, NC. Ideally would want someone local to the Charlotte area. Selected individual will work within the Data Governance (team manages Reference Data, Master Data Management and Data Quality). The initial contract is for 6 months, but there's an excellent chance for extension since this is not just for one project, but for ongoing work. Selected individual will be part of a 3-person core team, including a Technical Lead, a Developer and then interface with the QA team in Charlotte as well. Individual will need to have solid SQL (writing queries, inner & outer joins) for data profiling and validation. The selected Business Analyst (Data Governance) contractor will be responsible for creating and managing consistent, uniform reference data, crosswalks, and master data within client systems. They will collaborate with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to use processes, workflows, and technologies to manage and ensure the quality and consistency of corporate and product related data asset. Individual will be responsible for gathering, documenting and representing data requirements. Will work with internal and external stakeholders to remediate incorrect, invalid, or non-conforming client-provided data, and survey data. Individual will decompose vision and high-level requirements into detailed technical solutions, processes, metadata, procedures, training, and standards. Individual will maintain project documentation and artifacts, including data/process flow diagrams, workflows, business rules and profiles for data sources. This will be in support of an effort to measure data quality and report findings to promote cleansing data at the source.
