Android Developer (UI) - Contract - Finland - 9 month initial period
Masentó are on the hunt for a skilled Android Developer (UI) to join a Nordic giant in their Helsinki office as a contractor. This developer will be contributing to the new and innovative digital offerings of the organisation.
This role will require responsibility for the end-to-end creation of user interfaces, working from the data layer through to the customer facing interface. You will be familiar with and have utilised/created apps that communicate with the server over a REST API.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience in large codebases
- Have a strong theoretical foundation in software engineering best practices
- Be fluent in Kotlin/or similar and follow the latest trends in Android development
- Have hands-on experience with unit testing and test automation of systems in real use
- Have a strong Github profile that demonstrates your excellence in the field
- Be familiar with Rx, Data Binding, coroutines and MVVM
