Informatica Contract Dublin 6-18 Months.
My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Informatica/Oracle Developer to join them on a contract basis.
The Informatica Developer Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. The Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognised as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Global Markets.
As an Informatica Developer your skills and qualifications will ideally include; a minimum of four (4) years of commercial experience in design and development of enterprise ETL solutions as an Informatica (ETL) developer. Successful candidates will have an In-depth knowledge of all Informatica transformations, variables, workflow creation, incremental logic and error management. You will have experience with optimisation or performance tuning of ETL Jobs, SQL, and PL/SQL. Candidates will have a minimum of four (4) years of commercial experience in Oracle/SQL Server 2008 or above development and related services. You will have Experience working in agile teams and experience with continuous integration tools like Bit bucket/SVN, Jenkins.
It would be seen as advantageous to have experience working in Finance/Investment Banking sector. If would be desirable to have experience working in a high-rigor regulated and change-controlled environment. Again desirable to have experience working with C# development, building Web Applications using CSS, HTML, ASP.NET and Visual Studio and experience writing Tableau reports a plus.
