Android Developer | Kotlin | Antwerp
My key client is looking for an experienced Android developer, to join them for an initial 12 month contract. You will further develop their Android apps and lay the building blocks for a sustainable mobile strategy. Collaborate with your colleagues in product management and Backend development and integrate their app into the existing infrastructure.
What you can expect:
- Develop apps with product management as part of the mobile squad.
- Work closely with Backend developers, you make sure that their apps are seamlessly incorporated into their infrastructure.
- You ensure the optimal coordination of concept, design, and technology with your creativity and experience.
- Advance the technical platform;
- Drive the architectural design of components used throughout the application.
- Lead development projects to completion written in Kotlin.
- Be involved in TDD or BDD development process.
What sets you apart:
- Robust experience implementing Android apps via Client Server communication.
- Strong background in Java and/or Kotlin.
- Strong experience using development tools such as Android Studio, gradle, or git.
- Solid understanding of Android, common design patterns, and APIs.
- Previous Android UI development and the implementation of Material Design interfaces.
- Experience with RxJava and/or Reactive programming models.
- Have one or more apps you've built or been involved in building.
- Experience with Android Databinding and Model-View-Presenter architecture would be a plus.
- Have a degree in computer science, media informatics, or in a comparable field of study.
- Experience of both written and spoken Dutch and English.
