Description
An innovative R&D engineering company currently require a contract Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract (initial 6 months with a view to extend). The contract Mechanical Design Engineer will have a good understanding of problem-solving complex engineering solutions, excellent CAD skills on either Pro-E or SolidWorks, and ideally come from a highly regulated industry, ie automotive or aerospace.You will be heavily involved in the design of plastics and metals so a background of both would be advantageous.
The product you will be working on will be a highly innovative game changer in the market this company work within.
This would suit someone more aligned to a Mechanical Engineer than an industrial designer due to the complex nature of the mechanics involved in the design.
