We are looking for an experienced Mac C++ developer to enhance the Mac version of our clients cross-platform technology and to port onto a wider range of Mac based platforms and/or iPad/iPhone. The role involves further developing driver level components to integrate with the graphics system as well as library code and simple utilities. The role involves design; development; implementation; porting and testing of new desktop applications, libraries and utilities. The successful applicant will be able to write robust, reliable code that is appropriate for consumer products, whilst also being able to turn around new designs rapidly during the prototyping phase.

We require solid experience of Mac development with C++ / Objective C in a multi-threaded environment, and proven experience of working with the lower levels of OS X. Knowledge of networking, graphics and real-time programming is highly desirable.

The role involves working in a small team having both a product and technology focus, with an expectation of working to agreed deadlines.

• Good scientific/engineering degree or equivalent
