Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
This is a 4-5 week full time contract role with a company located just outside the Chicago, IL area in Pleasant Prairie, WI
Here's the required skill set:
- Cisco ACI with Multi-Site Orchestrator
- Cisco Nexus-OS VDC/VPC/OTV over NX7K, 5K, and 2K platforms
- Plus: Some experience Cisco Storage (MDS, N5K Storage modules, FCOE)
Required certifications:
- CCNP Core routing and Switches
- CCNP Data Center (focus on ACI and Nexus)
Desired location: Resource should be able to drive daily to Pleasant Prairie, WI and Waukegan, IL.
This is to start ASAP until mid-November.

External routed network integration through border leaf Switches and ports using attachable entity profiles (AEP)
Create Virtual Port Channel (VPC) profiles for L2 extension to Nexus 7K core
Create VPC profiles for Host VPC
All HP chassis running ESXi
OOB mgmt. Switches
Misc. L2 devices requiring dual homed connectivity
Create Entity Profiles for Attached Devices
Firewalls
Load Balancers
Campus Distribution
Computing Chassis
Create and configure tenants and contracts across all tenants
Configure service graphs
Per Design phase per tenant
Configure end point groups (EPGs) by either VLAN or Host IP addresses
Configure Bridge Domains
Configure ACI integration to vCenter VMM domain and profiles for integration
Configure contracts per design phase
Configure contracts between EPGs as deemed required
Configure contracts between L2 and outside
Configure contracts between L3 and outside
Configure up to ten (10) service graph instances per data center within one service graph template
If HP Chassis with Flex 10 adapters (if any)
Module to be configured as pass-through
All switching to take place on Leaf
L2 OUT
Configure bridge domain and EPG to existing Nexus core to support network migration
Span all data center VLANs
Modify existing SVIs as needed for migrations
Migrate SVI to ACI fabric and verify connectivity
L3 OUT
(2) Logical Multi-chassis Ether-Channel (MEC) to Data Center and Campus Distribution
(2) Logical L3 MECs to Firewalls
Create L3 out and routing protocol policies if required
Build and configuration of the datacenter transport network, and build connections between the HQ1 and WK1 Fabrics with Multi-Site
Configure back up policy export to external SCP/FTP server or equivalent.
Execute Fabric wide test plan to prove basic fabric functions, connectivity and failover of components
Complete as built documentation of the ACI Fabric and deliver to Customer staff
Perform knowledge transfer activities to Customer staff on the ACI Fabric
Execute test plan to prove functionality, connectivity and failover
For each DC Specific configuration will be applied to the ACI fabric.
Configuration and testing activities will include the following:
IP Fabric Testing
Test dual connected hosts and endpoints for connectivity during:
Physical link failure
Spine failure
Leaf failure
APIC failure
Test configured EPG & Contracts for successful micro-segmentation
Test Layer 3 resiliency from ACI fabric to Campus Distribution/Aggregation/DCI/MPLS
