BI Consultant//Commodities Trading Firm//Singapore//Contract
A Major Commodities Trading Firm is seeking a BI Specialist consultant to join their Singapore office on a greenfield project. This department is responsible supporting the Front Office and all business-critical systems in the firm. You will be significantly improving the firm's reporting capability by building out business intelligence, visualisation and cloud capability.
Rate: up to £550 - £650 per day
Length: approx. 12 months
Key responsibilities:-
- Facing off directly with the business and SGP trading IT stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions
- Design and implement BI solutions for the business-critical areas which surround and integrate with the trading system
Key skills:-
- Exceptional relational database knowledge in SQL
- Traditional MS ETL/BI Stack skills in SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
- Very good knowledge of data analytics and visualisation using Power BI, and/or Tableau
- (Strongly preferred) Experience working In Agile development teams
- (Strongly Preferred) Azure, Azure Data factory, Azure Analysis Service, Azure DevOps
- (Preferred) Domain knowledge of commodities covering trading, operations, risk management and financial accounting
