£400 per day/4 months rolling/Leeds
A leading global financial services company seek an experienced .NET Developer with experience in both ASP.NET and VB.NET
The key skills required are as follows:
- ASP.NET Web Forms.
- VB.NET.
- T-SQL.
- HTML5.
- CSS3.
- JavaScript (vanilla - no frameworks).
- MVVM.
- MS SQL Server.
My client currently have a company wide Application that has useful management information on and the application is used for business generation, negotiations, calculating transactions - basically a full set of Management and User Information, the data is both forward and backwards looking and the use of this Application is key to future business.
However, it needs (managers term), a lick of paint! Some offices/regions don't use it properly or are still collating data via excel spreadsheets and they really need everyone to buy into using the system.
Therefore this role is help improve the application - it may be that you do a small database redesign or add a google based search function or suggest different ideas - the manager is fairly open minded and happy to listen to guidance from people who have the relevant experience.
There will be 3 stages for the project: Development, QA and Post Implementation
You will also be involved in working with a 3rd party who are involved in the UX/UI.
Ideally you will be available to start within the next 2 weeks.
