Description
For our prestigious client, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer/Senior Data Platform Engineer for a 3 month rolling contract in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and upgrade the data platforms using Infrastructure as code and configuration as code in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and/or bare-metal environments, either on site or in the cloud.
- Become the product owner of the data platforms and be able to assist the end users.
- Monitor the data platforms and develop remediation scripts to ensure high-availability and disaster recovery.
- Be able to prioritise solutions to incidents and change requests assigned to the Data Platform team.
- Optimise the Data Platform for maximum efficiency.
- Document all Data Platform processes and design elements.
- Be the Data Platform Product Owner and provide your infrastructure, network, security, governance, CI/CD etc requirements in form of user stories
- Develop new/custom Data Platform capabilities supported by MVPs with concrete value add to the data consumption life cycle.
Skills
- Be able to leverage machine learning and process automation.
- Full stack developer
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline
- Hortonworks Data Platform experience
- English speaking site
- Team player
- Experience in NiFi
- Experience in public cloud environments (Azure,AWS or Google BigQuery)
