Large Banking institution is in urgent need of a Unix Administrator for a large project on one of their sites in Dublin.
Client is looking for an SME with solid background in programming and Bourne Shell Scripting.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong infrastructure and Network engineering background with the ability to install, configure, maintain, support hardware systems such as Switches, load balancers, Servers etc.
Ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years Unix systems experience with a solid understanding of developing centralised configuration code.
Technical skills required:
- Linux and/or FreeBSD computer operating systems.
- Bourne Shell Scripting
- Strong Engineering background in configuring routing and switching hardware.
- Knowledge of IP Networking, packet framing.
- Load balancers
- Exposure to FreeBSD computer operating systems.
