My high profile Asset Management client are currently looking for a Network manager to join their team based in London on an initial 6 month contracting position.
The Network Manager is responsible for the management of subcustodians, payment banks and markets to support the businesses. Asset Servicing and Payments business. Network Management is a risk management function and the position works as a member of the Europe, Middle East and Africa regional Network Management team.
Responsibilities
. Managing subcustodian service/performance
. Support due diligence on subcustodians, central depositories and other market participants
. Ensuring safety of client assets
. Managing market issues relating to the operational, legal, regulatory and infrastructure environment, and preparing/communicating relevant changes to internal and external partners
. Provision of consulting services to internal/external partners seeking information and guidance to navigate through the complexities associated with investing in global markets
. Support negotiation of legal documentation
. Documentation and information management
. Operationally support the business units ie operations, client services, sales, product, securities lending etc.
Skills/Competencies Required
. Network Management or subcustody experience required
. Demonstrate strong risk management competency level
. Interpersonal and professional communication skills (written and oral)
. Demonstrate strong leadership/ownership skills
. Organisation and time management proficiency
. Project management experience desirable
. Administration skills
. Team player with a flexible attitude and adaptive approach
. Understanding of CASS rules
