Our Fortune 100 client has a contracting opportunity for an IT Applications Programmer Senior with Mainframe experience to join one of their dynamic teams. - 6+ years Mainframe, Cobol, JCL, DB2, and VSAM experience
- Experience with TSO and related Mainframe utilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Support new enhancement requests
- Responsible for designing, coding and testing and collaborating with quality assurance analyst and cross-platform resources to move solutions to production environment
- Work with business partners to understand and refine requirements
- Work as part of a team environment to ensure successful project delivery
- Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (eg, Computer Science, Software Engineering) and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.
