An Award Winning start-up has an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to be part of a growing start up Not-for-profit FTSE 100 backed venture in the Shipping industry.

The role has 2 dimensions covering external comms & marketing and business administration

Your role will be to support the brand, reaching new and existing customers through compelling campaigns and communications. You will research and develop strategies to reach key industry groups through events, publications and other channels and create the collateral to support these strategies.

This role also requires digital awareness as it includes management of the website, social media and other digital channels.

Business Administration duties is to support the leadership team, primarily the CEO, to ensure the proper flow of office procedures. You will be the glue of the leadership team.

Key responsibilities include:
Ensure business plans are updated and track the progress
Create agendas where needed
Assist in planning and arranging events
Carry out document management as needed
Attend workshops and conferences when requested
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
Professional level verbal and written communications skills
Maintain stock lists and orders office supplies as needed

The Candidate:
Excellent writing and editing skills
Experience working on international marketing campaigns.
Analytical skills with good attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Analytics
Ability to organize and prioritise daily workload.
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
Master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude.
You will maintain a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, customers, and vendors etc.
