World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a React and Python Developer: DevOps: Global Energy Company to join an existing team working on a forecasting engine dealing with structured and un-structured data.

You'll be co-located with the team in London, working closely with their internal customers, using the lean start-up approach and ScrumBan to accelerate the development of the solution.

Technical experience:
- At least 8+ years of experience as Developer/Lead Developer/Technical Lead in mobile/app/Back End application environment
- Experienced React.js and Python developer but also experience/awareness of Angular, etc. along with Client frameworks
- Be able to perform Back End data engineering tasks
- Experience in a DevOps environment
- Azure and AWS cloud implementations
- Strong experience in Industry standard frameworks/tools/platforms
- Proficient in consuming RESTful APIs, etc.
- Understanding of modern Authorization/Authentication frameworks like OAuth2
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tool - Git
- Experience of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Continuous Deployment, Automated, Performance and Security testing
- Working knowledge of Technical Design/specification
- Proficiency at all stages of the SDLC, especially in the following tasks
- Design, Specification, Development, Testing and Release packaging

Soft Skills:
- Strong command of English language
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience of working in a globally dispersed scrum team
- Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies
- Collaboration and engagement skills
- Experience in application/mobile/product delivery
- Demonstrated adaptability, goal orientated and innovative individual
- A firm grasp of responsive design and mobile application design

Adherence to:
- Software Development standards
- Agile methodologies
- Quality assurance
- Governance standards

The successful candidate may be/have:
- Understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of Server Side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Industry recognised certifications

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
