Senior Infrastructure Engineer - End User Computing/Desktop/Colleague Services
Edinburgh based Financial Services Client is looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy team on initial 6 months contract with a daily rate between £400 - £500 depending on experience.
You will be working within the wider Infrastructure team supporting Desktop Colleague Services & End-user computing team.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong and demonstrable background working within Infrastructure Engineering role with previous experience supporting Desktop/End User Computing
- A breadth of O365 platform related technologies knowledge such as: Windows 7 & 10, EM&S solutions, including SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, DirSync, Microsoft Exchange EMS, Active Directory and DNS
- Understanding of Active Directory Synchronization (AAD Connect), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Exchange Hybrid environment
- Be able to guide and walk through Active Directory remediation requirements
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Citrix and Microsoft
- Must be strong in all aspects of Microsoft Back Office platforms and have demonstrated experience configuring Office 365 applications such as OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Skype for Business, and Teams
- Experience of working in financial services would be preferable
- Exceptional communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with anyone in any environment, eg able to translate complex/technical issues to meet the audience's competency level
