Description

Our client based in East London are embarking on a huge digital transformation.

This role is to assist with the delivery of the G Suite Enterprise Collaboration suite, decommissioning of Legacy Collaboration services and oversee the development of a migration approach from Opentext and MS Exchange 2010. Then oversee and technically manage the migration of users into the new service and assist in the development of various solutions and other related 3rd party services.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a 'hands on' technical role. You will be responsible for the overall direction for the Collaboration workstream, be the technical lead for Collaboration issues, provide direction for migration planning, oversee the implementation, testing and migration of Collaboration related services. In addition, you will be responsible for the decommissioning of related Legacy services.

This project is a critical element of a Larger Transformation Programme, this role will be part of the Technical Workstream led by the Technical Lead, who you will report into for day to day activities.

Key Activities:

ImplementG Suite Enterprise

Migrate Legacy services from MS Exchange 2010 to G Suite

Agree and test migration approach from Opentext and Exchange into G Suite. Work with partner organisations to deliver this migration.

Oversee the migration of users onto G Suite

Plan, deploy and migrate solutions to replace Legacy 3rd party Collaboration services

Ensure smooth interaction with Okta our identity provider

Establish appropriate policies and permissions related to Email, Groups, Team Drives and 3rd Party apps.

Experience

Experience of delivering G Suite Enterprise to at least 1000 users

Experience of Microsoft Exchange to G Suite migration

(D) Experience of Opentext to G Suite migration

Good understanding of project life cycles for technical delivery

Strong analytical and problem management skills

Collaborative problem solving techniques showing, diplomacy, tact and firmness

Excellent communication and vendor management skills

Understand and translate requirements into business and technology solutions

Experience of transformation programmes

Experience of shared service infrastructure implementation

Strong history and track record of completing tasks on time and of the required quality

Ability to anticipate issues and work around them

Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism

Experience of working across Enterprise platforms

Knowledge of application development and system architecture

(D) Experience of working in an Agile team

Self sufficient

Ability to engage and interact with non technical staff
