OFD - Open Flight Deck
An advanced R&D project with guaranteed funding until November 2020. The project is an R&D project focussed around the future technology of flight deck operations.
The research and development are focussed around the software and hardware infrastructure behind the graphics rather than the graphics.
Working on the Platforms, applications, and the tools that UI will use to customise.
Applications - Navigation, maps, maintenance
Advanced phase which has software developed which works with hardware on Real Time systems.
Role - Server Developer
Role will be to develop new applications and features into the server ie: display screen info/gesture (pinch/swipe), cursor interaction definition
Looking for a highly technical software engineer (C and/or C++) used to working in safety critical environments
Rhapsody desirable
Unified Modelling Language essential
