.Net Developer | Web Developer | Umbraco | Digital Website Project

3 month rolling contract

.Net Developer with working knowledge of Umbraco CMS is required by our global customer based in London to work on a leading digital project on a rolling 3 month contract.

Purpose of role

- To develop, maintain and support our customers' websites and contribute to the ongoing development of their websites by providing innovative solutions to complex problems

Experience required

- Demonstrable track record of successfully developing web applications using best practices
- Demonstrable track record of supporting and troubleshooting applications (CMS, Shopping carts, etc.)
- Ability to work in an Agile technical project team; working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a positive attitude
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex problems to non-technical team members
- Well- developed problem solving skills and the ability to work undirected when required

Key Responsibilities/Duties

- To work closely with the Digital Experience team, Product Owners, external agencies and other team members to build new web applications
- To ensure that applications are coded securely, documented, tested and deployed in line with accepted standards
- To work with stakeholders to develop new features based on specifications which may range from a detailed technical document to an outline concept
- To support their websites by implementing change and support requests efficiently
- To work with the other members of an Agile team to:
- Identify how they can make use of new technology and techniques
- Improve the performance and operation of the website
- Support infrastructure and development environment
- Ensure the sites meet agreed SLA's for performance and availability
- Be familiar with and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures at all times
- Any other duties as reasonably required in line with skills, knowledge, and experience to contribute to our clients wider success.
