An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Desktop Support Engineer within the Information Technology and Systems Team at my exciting client at their Cardiff office.
The successful candidate will find themselves in a potentially long term ongoing role with a mixed bag of day to day duties and the opportunity to hold a position of responsibility and independence being the sole point of support for a small location which is an integral part of the business.
Knowledge & Experience Required
* Previous experience in providing high quality technical support
* Excellent technical knowledge of desktop hardware
* Excellent customer service skills
* Hands-on IT troubleshooting experience
* Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
* Experience of common software tools, components and peripheral accessories
* Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365 and SCCM
The position is an initial 1 month contract falling outside of IR35 that is very likely to be extended due to the ongoing need for somebody withinn this location.
