DevOps Designer

Whitehall Resources are looking for a DevOps Designer based in London for a 6 Month period.

* The successful candidate MUST hold ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE.*

The Programme requires a DevOps Designer to support a complex IT-enabled change project and transformation initiative. The DevOps Designer will design, develop, unit test and support the Integration Solution, in accordance with the DevOps Strategy/Architecture.

Experience
- Provide evidence of experience in delivering Integration Design/Development services on large scale, complex IT and change Projects/Programme(s) ideally ERP/Oracle Cloud implementations
- Provide evidence of experience in delivering Integration Design/Development services in a large-scale change programme within a Policy-Led environment, preferably within the Public Sector/Government
- Provide evidence of designing and delivering a re-usable, component-based Integration solution following best practices and standards
- Provide evidence of expert proficiency in Oracle Integration Toolset products like Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Managed File Transfer Service, Oracle SOA Cloud Service
- Provide evidence of experience in drafting Interface specifications with third party system owners, to establish a service contract for the interfaces
- Experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders of all levels of experience and maturity to ensure a seamless delivery of the integration solution
- Experience of the Government Digital Service's Design Principles and Digital Service Standard

Development Interfaces
- Interface to the Solution Architects/Functional WorkStreams on Solution Design
- Interface with Third-Party system owners/contacts on Interface Control Documentation (ICD)
- Interface with Internal Assurance on Technical Guidelines/Standards
- Interface with Solution Integrators on Functional Configuration
- Interface with Platform Engineers on Platform Provisioning and Configuration
- Interface with Dev Ops Engineers on designing CI/CD pipelines of Integration Solution
- Interface with other WorkStreams as required

Operations and Maintenance Interfaces
- Atlas solution components (SaaS, PaaS, Custom Extensions etc.)
- Third Party Systems
- Government (Guidelines/Standards)
- Vendor (Oracle) Product Issues/Roadmaps

Configuration Management Requirements

- The Designs documentation produced to be secured and managed in the appropriate Teams location
- The Integration solution code/unit test scripts to be secured in the version control system of the Programme
- Interface Control Document changes should be carried out through a change management process, that is reviewed/approved by the Atlas WorkStream and Third-Party system owners

Problem Handling and Escalation
- The programme RAID log will hold all Integration Solution related risks, issues, assumptions and decisions.
- Updates will be provided to the Technical Architecture Integration Lead on progress in mitigating risks and issues on a weekly basis
- Integration Solution Assumptions and Dependencies will be valid
