Description
Brookwood is seeking a Server Engineer based in Cheshire is to support existing infrastructure (3rd line support) and project work for a public sector client.
The contract duration is 3 months initially, with a high possibility of renewal.
The day rate is £270, Inside IR35. Please note that this role has been determined to be Inside IR35.
Essential Skills Required:
- VMWare including vRealize, vROps and VxRail
- Citrix Presentation Server/Citrix XenApp 7.x - system support end to end Storefront/Web services/Citrix Receiver/printer support
- SCOM
- SQL - awareness on a virtual estate
- Good analysis and documentation skills
- Produce High Level Design documentation/work instructions
- Ability to work on run and change consecutively and manage your time accordingly
- Deploying and supporting Servers in Azure and AWS
- Active Directory - group policy support etc
- Windows Server 2008 R and 2019
- PowerShell Scripting skills - working with Citrix/Server estate
- Understanding of large complex infrastructures including LAN/WAN, SAN, virtualisation
Experience
- Worked in large complex environments covering multiple sites and data centres
- Application consolidation and migration experience AD and Exchange
- Liaising with 3rd party vendors to upgrade/migrate applications
- PRINCE2 and ITIL
