Description
Our established client is currently looking to recruit a SC Cleared Windows System Engineer on an initial 1 year contract.
The successful candidate will hold valid SC Clearance and will have previous experience as a Systems Engineer/3 rd Line Engineer. Within the role you will be developing, building, supporting and managing the IT Platforms and applications within a large diverse challenging estate. You will be working on critical infrastructure assignments including cyber security, patch automation and essential core services and will work on a wide range of technologies including desktop operating systems on physical and virtual platforms, application packaging and patching, Office 365 administration, Exchange email services, Citrix virtualised applications, web Servers, Active Directory, and database Servers among others.
Key Experience
- Managing Windows Systems in an Enterprise Environment
- Knowledge of any of the following: Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, MS SQL Server, MS Systems Centre Suite, IIS
- Designing procedures for automating the support of Windows systems and help document process improvements.
- Building platforms required for new projects and ensure they meet stated requirements and are fit for introduction into operational use.
