Veritas Enterprise Vault Consultant
My customer requires an EV Consultant to assist them with the tasks below:
High Level
- Act as an extended member of the Messaging Team
- Identify and communicate potential to align themselves against Messaging Team's Strategy and Plans
- SME for Veritas Archiving products and projects
- Resolution of Technical Issues via On-Site Attendance, telephone or remote access
- Work as part of the Messaging Support team to provide technical expertise and solutions
- Work as part of the Messaging Support team to support delivery of Project tasks
- Identify and notify to the Customer recommended Pro-Active tasks
Expanded
- Hosting regular technical forums globally with Messaging team key members in the UK, USA, APAC and ABSA, creating a forum to discuss current updates, news and information, project work and ongoing cases.
- Identifying environments at risk, assessing and compiling full archiving service improvement plans for archiving, compliance and dependent technologies. Liaising directly with satellite countries and global regions to outline requirements with local and global technical teams, service management and heads of technology. Planning and coordinating technical resources through to successful completion.
- SME for Veritas Archiving products and projects providing comprehensive technical guidance prior to and during projects, ensure safeguarding of the archiving and compliance environments.
- Proactive identification of potential issues and relaying them to the global teams to prevent or reduce impact.
- Resolution of Technical Issues via On-Site Attendance, telephone or remote access working closely Engineers.
- Provided guidance, assistance and product based training to assist the messaging team in completion of TCSA Audit Challenges, identifying product improvements around Auditing and working with Product Management to understand requirements.
- Continue to deliver new starter training and delivery of 1 to 1 training when and as required globally.
- Working closely with the SCCD Program to identify requirements to upgrade the current environment and implementation of upgrades, continuing to support and work with all teams to implement upgrades, build out and data migrations
