My client is one of the Netherlands biggest Financial Institutions and they are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to start a Long term Contract position in the Netherlands.
The banking environment is constantly changing: digitisation, new business models, open banking, innovative channels, changes to laws and regulations and changing customer behaviour. These changes are driven by IT solutions.
As a Test Automation Engineer, you would like to make an impact together with your team. You are co-responsible for achieving the IT and business objectives. It is your role, together with the team, to translate the product vision into automatized solutions. In contacts with the business, it is important that you ask for the underlying goals. This requires focus and skills to find out the question behind the question. In doing so, you proactively think along to be more effective with the team by automating things and testing ideas on impact and feasibility. Where necessary, you're looking for the confrontation.
The Team: Customer life Cycle Management
It concerns the Customer Life Cycle Management team as part of the Sales & Client Processes cluster. The teams are responsible for the digital onboarding and maintenance of business and private customers. We do this with technologies like Java, Pega, Siebel and Oracle. An important part is a review of whether a customer complies with the law and regulations (KYC, CDD). In your work, you have interfaces with the customer, local bank employees and the web and app virtual channels.
Of course, we work Agile and are constantly working to take steps towards maximum independent teams through DevOps and a method in which the customer journey is central. This means that your direct colleagues are diverse; off- and onshore, marketing and legal and everything between them. What we ask of you:
Test automation engineer:
- 3+ year (test) automation expertise
- Knowledge of Oracle products is a plus
- Knowledge of Robot Framework & Python
- Knowledge and experience with Selenium
- OOPs (Object-oriented programming)
- DevOps experience
- Proactive
