Financial Accountant
CIMA/ACA/ACCA, GAAP, IFRS
6 month initial contract | Newcastle | £150 - £160 per day
Financial Accountant is urgently required for a 6 month initial contract in Newcastle to lead in financial reporting processes, including monthly/quarterly reporting, forecasts, investment surveys, and fiancial plans. You will be responsible for the accuracy and assurance of financial ledgers, external audit quality, ensuring accounting policies and best practice are implemented correctly, and contributing towards any financial system configurations.
Skills required:
- Proven experience in financial accounting and financial reporting, including weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting, forecasting, investment surverys, short - long term financial planning, and similar.
- Accounting qualification preferred (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
- An understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Basic IT skills (Spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools).
- Good knowledge of financial reporting systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
