- Python Software Engineer/Developer
- £425 per day
- 6 month contract
- Role based in Cambridge
We are looking for 2 experienced Python Developers/Python Software Engineers to join their Revenue Operations team supporting them with Predictive Analytics with Legal Commercial contracts. There is 6-9 months remaining with the project so the product is already very well defined so we are looking for candidates with a high level of experience in Python to build rules and code up.
Key experience required:
- Excellent python skills with experience in building production quality software applications
- Good database skills - postgresql being a plus. Administration level (create/delete databases, models design ) but no need for an expert (index optimisation, etc.).
- Good analytical skills - ie experience in writing complex SQL SELECT queries to investigate data
- Experience with Docker, Git, Django, Postman
- Experience with reporting tools - Tableau being a plus
- Good collaborative skills - ie work with both data scientists and business stakeholders from diverse teams to understand business problems and solving them as a team
- Experience in reading and working with commercial contracts.
- Exposure to ETL is a plus - we can either teach them or rely on internal resources for that
- Prior experience of Agile software development methods and tools is also a plus
