Hadoop Administrator
This is an exciting opportunity for a Hadoop Administrator to join a global blue chip client of ours based in West London, working on a large-scale implementation project. The Hadoop Administrator will align with the Unix/database engineering team to propose and deploy new hardware and software environments required for Hadoop and to expand existing environments.
Hadoop Administrator - Key Skills
- Cloudera Stack
- Hadoop Architecture
- LDAP/AD/Kerberos authentication
- Hadoop security, cluster resources management, cluster maintenance.
- Data integration tools such as Informatica, Sqoop, Nifi and Streamsets
- Scripting and programming languages such as Python, Scala, and Bash
- Optimizing system performance and troubleshooting
- Deep understanding of network architecture for Big Data platform
- Cloud Technologies (Azure or AWS)
