Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Software Developer, for a three-month contract based in Dundee for a public sector client.
This contract has been deemed as inside of IR35, at a daily rate depending on experience (£400 - £465). Candidates must have a valid (12 months) Basic Disclosure Scotland.
The role
- This role is to assist our clients Digital Team in the development and delivery of a new application within the business.
- The Digital team have adopted the Agile methodology and operate using tools like Jira, YouTrack, Trello and other tools associated in helping with managing an Agile delivery.
- This role will be part of a current development team of around 6 people
Experience Required:
- Knowledge of Microsoft.NET framework and web development, including HTML, JavaScript and MVC
- Experienced in designing and implementing relational databases in MS SQL Serve
- Experienced in continuous improvement of development, integration and delivery processes
- Experienced in Agile methodologies
- Experience of working as part of an agile software delivery team
- NET development using C# and Visual Studio
- ASP.NET development using MVC 4/5
- Web application frameworks such as AngularJS
- Web services, including creation and consumption of WCF and Web API services
- Cloud technologies, such as MS Azure or AWS
