Description
Infrastructure Lead/Manager - Transformation - Contract - Northern Italy. Italian and English Speaking.
Role function
- Provide strong technical knowledge of Infrastructure, including networks as well as core business applications at a high level and security, with ability to technically challenge existing team.
- Manage Local team through a transition to a new IT model (infra & apps)
- Key member of an IT transformation team working in a Matrix management environment
- To provide input into the IT change programme and its associated projects as the business migrates to SaaS solutions
Must have Experience
- Proven track record leading an infrastructure and operations/service function including day to day management of infrastructure operations.
- Extensive experience dealing with vendors and 3rd parties.
- Hardware procurement and refresh
- O365 migrations from GSuite
- Experience of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Firewalls, load balancing, alerting, monitoring and transport protocols
- Configuration Management Database or equilvalent
- Data centre moves
- Extensive experience leading teams across infrastructure and applications (circa 15 in total) is essential
- International exposure, (this role will have very limited travel to UK)
Nice to have experience
- Ability to bring structure and documentation to a low maturity environment
- Data centre relocations of Legacy As400 systems
- Exposure to VMware and Citrix
- Experience of IT security protocols such as ISO27001
- ITIL processes
- Network of providers for contractors for RPG, Oracle DB
