Lead Sourcing Specialist- Amsterdam, NL.
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Lead Sourcing Specialist for our client in Amsterdam, NL.
Purpose of the position:
Lead action planning and ensure implementation, and sourcing activities at regional level for all the "non mass RfQ" items within Go-to-Market scope
Coordinate activities with other category managers in order to maximize strategy and negotiation impact
Define opportunities for supplier base consolidation or any other business improvement strategy related to the managed spend. It is responsible as well to mitigate cost increase and ultimately to achieve savings as requested by management
Be the go-to-person for every S2P related activity for the managed spend
Drive activities autonomously and in coordination with Go-to-Market Project Management Office
Responsibilities for the Lead Sourcing Specialist include:
- Act in coordination with Go-to-Market PMO to design and execute activities timely
- Coordinate savings reporting methodologies and activities with PMO
- Analyze data points resulting from historic spend and from previous sourcing activities on spend in scope
- Define category and sourcing strategy, in accordance with PMO and under approval of Go-to-Market head
- Design detailed sourcing and supplier related initiatives clearly identifying scope, timeline, resources and achievements
- Be the ultimate responsible for running RfX activities, leveraging eSourcing tool (Ariba)
- Run RfX analysis and provide insights to PMO to support the preparation of project or management update
- Prepare shortlisting document and negotiation strategy
- Prepare and run supplier negotiations (in person and remote)
- Define awarding strategy and prepare scenario
- Get awarding scenario approved by Go-to-Market leadership
- Communicate with suppliers about awarding decisions
- Implement awarding scenario, supporting PMO to track effective implementation at MPC level
- Ensure Back Office to update price of all "identical" MPCs
- Coordinate together with BU technology the qualification and implementation of "alternative" materials
- Be the link between to suppliers supporting all activities along the Source-to-Pay process
