Description
ACI,Fabrics implementation,spines & leaves,VMM integration,OpenStack & VMware,VNFs,Vodacom,BAU activities,STP,HSRPThe Senior System Support Engineer is responsible for the following tasks:
• ACI Implementation Plan
• Fabrics implementation and testing
• Deployment of new spines & leaves
• VMM integration with OpenStack & VMware
• Onboarding of new VNFs
• Troubleshooting assistance to Vodacom operations and BAU activities.
Required Skills:
• Hands on experience on Cisco Switches/Routers ACI/N9K N7K
• VxLAN knowledge strong requirement.
• Nexus 5K/7K platforms product architecture knowledge and hands on experience including Fabric Path, OTV, VDC, VPC technologies, ACI experience is a plus.
• Expert level knowledge in the areas of: IP internetworking, LAN Switching Protocols (MLS, CEF, Trunking (802.1Q), STP, HSRP, LACP/PAGP), IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VxLAN
• VMware experience
• CCIE Preferred
The Project Implementation Consulting Services will be provided by one (1) Senior System Support Engineer, as onsite consultants to enable Vodacom to act to resolve daily operations issues and
to provide troubleshooting assistance for Cisco ACI related products only. The Senior System Support Engineer is responsible for the following tasks:
• ACI Implementation Plan
• Fabrics implementation
• Fabrics Testing
• Deployment of new spines & leaves
• VMM integration with OpenStack & VMware
• Onboarding of new VNFs
• Troubleshooting assistance to Vodacom operations and business as usual activities
