Assistant Sourcing Manager - IT - Financial Services - Edinburgh
Rate: £300/day
Duration: 3 months with view to extend
Location: Edinburgh
The role: Our client is looking for an assistant sourcing manager to be part of the IT Sourcing team that is accountable for the onboarding, contracting and renewal of IT supplier relationships. This is an assistant role where you will be responsible for supporting the business during significant change. They are looking for an individual with experience in IT Sourcing, that is keen to further their career in this discipline.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience working within Sourcing, with a focus on IT
- Obtained, or be working towards MCIPS qualification or similar
- Experience supporting IT procurement, both in BAU and project environments
- Demonstrable experience of strong reporting skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of ensuring no disruption of service for incumbent services
- Knowledge of procurement systems desirable.
