Urgent.*Ruby on Rails Developers/Full Stack Developer (ROR) and a Front End developer to work on a government project starting in April.* Outside IR35The role is primarily based in London, SW1, but the candidate may have to travel to Birmingham potentially 2 days a week.
Senior Ruby-on-Rails full-stack Developer and a Front End developer - London - 6 months to 1 year
The Role:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Ruby-on-Rails full-stack developers us working on a digital project with one of our key Government clients.
Due to the nature of the role all candidates must either already hold or be willing and eligibleto hold UK Security Clearance to at least SC level.
Key skills and experience:
- Developing responsive web applications using Ruby-on-Rails and in line with our tech stack or equivalent
- Coaching, mentoring and supervising junior developers to deliver successful outcomes
- Working with UX design teams to develop prototypes into full production code
- Working with QA testers to follow automated and manual testing regimes to ensure that code is fully tested before live deployment
- Working with CI/CD toolchains to deploy code into live
- Fixing bugs and service issues quickly to minimise user disruption
- Working with tools eg PaaS, Notify.
As desirable:
Direct knowledge of, and experience of working with, the Government digital service standard is desirable.
