My client, a highly successful market leader based near Nottingham/Derby are looking for an 2nd Support Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. As one of the first large companies to embark on such a large scale migration, they are looking to bring in someone who will sit on the 2nd line, with the aim of upskilling and training them in order to bring them into the 3rd line.
Ideally, the Support Engineer will have 2nd line and strong Office 365 experience particularly around roll out, implementation and support as well as willingness to learn and integrate culturally.
The key skills/experience that the 2nd line Support Engineer will have are:
- Support experience from a 2nd line perspective
- Office 365 hands-on mailbox migration experience
- Knowledge of power Shell Scripting
- A willingness to learn and pick up new things
My client has completed the initial phase of the migration and is now looking to roll out Office 365 to between 65,000-75,000 users internally. They have outcomes to achieve throughout the year, with over £10m budget to deliver this. The successful engineer will be physically running the migrations and supporting from a 2nd line perspective by picking up any troubleshooting.
