Embedded Linux Developer - Antwerp - ASAP Start - €65 p/h - On Site - English SpeakingA household name within the telecommunication industry is searching for an expert Embedded Linux Developer to come on board for a 12 month project starting ASAP. For this greenfield project, you will be performing the full development cycle in order to design solutions, implement missing functionality and integrate existing software modules.
This is a long term project and the client has a track record of offering extensions - it's not uncommon for contractors to run for 2 to 3 years assuming both parties are happy.
We're looking to get this role filled ASAP with interviews being held from 28/2.
Requirements
- Expert in embedded Linux - both kernel and user space development
- Strong coding skills in C
- Knowledge of computer network concepts (bridging, routing, TCP/IP, firewall, NAT, DHCP, DNS, …)
- Knowledge of source versioning systems (GIT) is a plus
- Knowledge of automated testing (Jenkins) is a plus
